Presentation Overview
Before you create one slide, go over the following checklist. You will save yourself hours of time when you decide on the answers to these questions FIRST.

Title: Write the title of the presentation.

Objective: Write a one-sentence objective and have 3 people agree with it.

Theme: Write down the underlying theme or storyline that will weave through the presentation. (For example: We add value to the services we provide. With this system the companys mission will be accomplished quicker and easier.)

Agenda: List three to four key areas you will cover.

Format: Choose a format to use. This will structure how you present your information.

Audience Reaction: Write down what you want your audience to tell others as they discuss your presentation with someone.

Total Visual Checklist:
After you've created your visuals, lay out all the slides and examine them for flow and consistency by assessing the following attributes:

Organization

Agenda: Present the agenda within the first 3 slides.

Logical Flow: Ensure the flow follows the agenda and is easy for the audience to follow.

Data Chunked: Check that all information related to one topic is together.

Client Customization: Include slides for client information.

Blank or Logo Screen: Include blank or logo slides as the first and last slides of the presentation.

Table of Contents: Include a table of contents as an aid to the audience for easy reference.

Hidden Slides: Create hidden slides that contain additional details; use only if needed.
